One student from Region 5 will be selected to attend the National Festival in April to engage in topics concerning Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as well as a dynamic week-long curriculum designed to explore leadership in the performing arts, investigate institutional challenges in the profession, and create professional networking opportunities in the field. One of the many aims of KCACTF is to nurture the next generation of stage directors. To attain that goal, there are several opportunities for young directors at the Region 5 Festival to foster their growth as a director no matter their experience level.
