Welcome to the Professional Auditions and Technical Interviews (PA/TI). We are excited to offer Festival 57 registrants an opportunity to network with regional and national producers who are seeking talented performers and technicians. Registration Process
To participate in the Professional Auditions, submit a video of your audition using the form below. For those participating in the Technical Interviews, submit a digital portfolio using the form below. All producers will receive your information and call backs and follow-up interviews will occur at the festival. You will be contacted directly by producers to set up a callback during the festival and after the festival.

- Professional Auditions and Technical Interview submissions will be accepted through January 10. All registration is online. There is no registration on-site at the festival.
- You may register for both professional auditions and technical interviews.

Professional Audition Process
- Audition packages are limited to 90 seconds after you slate.
- If you are seeking non-musical theatre employment, perform two contrasting monologues.
- If you are seeking employment with a company producing classical works, perform a classic/verse monologue as part of your audition package.
- If you are seeking musical theatre employment, perform one monologue and 16-20 bars of a song.
- All auditions with singing must include live or recorded accompaniment. Singing a cappella is not allowed.
- There is no dance audition scheduled by KCACTF, however, on callback day, one or more companies may arrange for a dance audition. Individual companies that schedule a dance audition are responsible for contacting those they have called back with the details of the event.
- When you submit your audition, include a resume in Word or PDF format with your first and last name included in the file name. You also have the option of submitting a headshot in JPG format.
- General guidelines for video submissions.
- Record your video in landscape mode (not portrait).
- Position the camera at eye-level.
- Center yourself in the frame and make sure your body is visible from the top of your head to your waist.
- Make sure you are well-lit and your face is clearly visible.
- Make sure your audio is clear and audible.
- Include your slate/introduction at the start of your video, as you would for an in-person audition. This will not count towards the timing of your piece.
- You do not need to edit the video to include anything additional, such as a title card.
Technical Interview Process
- Submit your portfolio and resume in Word or PDF format via the link below.
- Be sure to include both your first and last name on the file name.
- If you have a digital portfolio, please provide a link in your resume.
- You may also include a PDF of your portfolio or carry a hard copy to your interviews.
- Please be aware that not all companies will be available for the entire call back time. Some companies may provide interview opportunities throughout the week, as their schedules permit.
- Interview procedure is at the discretion of each producer. Some companies will conduct group interviews; some will interview individuals by appointment.
