STAGE CREW OLYMPICS

Stage Crew Olympics

Does setting a dinner scene quickly and silently make you proud? Does completing a costume quick change fill you with joy? Do you already have stage crew skills?  Do you want to learn more? If you answered yes to any of the questions, come participate in STAGE CREW OLYMPICS!

It begins with an intensive workshop to teach students the basics of scene shifts, costume quick changes, and other skills that may be used at the final event.  During the intensive, each student will be assigned to a team.
The teams will have opportunities to practice their skills and teamwork throughout the week, if they choose.

All the teams will come together for the final event; a team-to-team, timed effort to complete an obstacle course of stage-crew tasks. Theatre professionals will observe and provide feedback based on accuracy and speed as teams advance.

Students of all skill levels are encouraged to participate!
