STAGE CREW OLYMPICS

Stage Crew Olympics

Does setting a dinner scene quickly and silently make you proud? Does completing a costume quick change fill you with joy? Do you already have stage crew skills?  Do you want to learn more? If you answered yes to any of the questions, come participate in STAGE CREW OLYMPICS!

It begins on Monday with an intensive workshop to teach students the basics of scene shifts, costume quick changes, and other skills that may be used at the final event.  During the intensive, each student will be assigned to a team.
The teams will have opportunities to practice their skills and teamwork throughout the week, if they choose.

All the teams will come together on Thursday for the final event; a team-to-team, timed effort to complete an obstacle course of stage-crew tasks. Theatre professionals will observe and provide feedback as teams advance based on accuracy and speed.

Students of all skill levels are encouraged to participate!

For more information, contact Pat Immel at pimmel@nwmissouri.edu or Natalie Hining at natalie.hining@simpson.edu
Entry for this event is now closed.
Please remember, in order to participate in this event you must register for the festival
