Collaborative Theatre Challenge
The Collaborative Theatre Challenge was developed in an effort to encourage continued opportunities for growth, development and collaboration among student theatre artists. Over the course of 2-3 sessions throughout the festival week, the Collaborative Theatre Challenge brings together a playwright, student directors, dramaturgs, and designers to collaborate on development of design ideas for a provided script.
This year the Collaborative Theatre Challenge will explore Veiled by Region 5 National Playwriting Programs Vice-Chair, Deidre Mattox. Click here to download the script for Veiled.
A bit about the play:
Amid strange supernatural events seemingly focused around the appearance of a creepy, haunted doll, three individuals confront present struggles, past traumas, and their mutual need for healing. With a little help from “the other side,” they join together as friends.
Don't miss this opportunity to collaborate with students from different institutions throughout the region!
