SPRING SEMESTER OPPORTUNITY
 
EDUCATION INTERN – SPRING 2019
Who: currently enrolled undergrads
Application deadline: Jan. 18, 2019 – deadline extended
 
Des Moines Performing Arts has an exciting opportunity for students interested in performing arts education and event management.
We are seeking current college students for our internship program within the programming and education department. The Education Intern’s primary responsibilities will include supporting the planning and implementation of the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards, summer camps, audience engagement experiences and school-based programs.

SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES
 
TEACHING ASSISTANT – SUMMER CAMPS
Who: currently enrolled undergrads
Application deadline: Feb. 3, 2019
Des Moines Performing Arts has an exciting opportunity for current college students interested in arts and theater education to serve as a Teaching Assistant for summer camps.
The Teaching Assistant’s primary responsibilities include supporting summer camp faculty in the execution of musical theater-based performance camps for young artists in grades 3-8.

Who: Bachelors degree in Theater, Directing or Acting or higher
Application deadline: Feb. 3, 2019
 
Des Moines Performing Arts seeks a dynamic, highly qualified Director/Choreographer for its Summer Camp Programs. The position invites emerging directors enrolled in graduate programs or equivalent experience to collaboratively lead a series of summer, musical theater-based performance camps for young artists in grades 3-8.

The position invites emerging professional music directors enrolled in graduate programs or equivalent experience to collaboratively lead a series of musical theater-based performance camps for young artists in grades 3-8.
