IRENE RYAN EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: All Irene Ryan Information is now available here. Faculty, please be sure to nominate your students by the December 19th deadline. Students can now begin pre-registering their Ryan information. A constantly updated list of all currently nominated Ryans can be found here. CALLING ALL CRITICS AND THEATRE JOURNALISTS: Information about participation in the Region 5 Institute for Theatre Journalism and Advocacy event can be found here. The deadline for registration is December 2. UNDERGRADUATE THEATRE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS: Calling all undergraduate theatre scholars to submit scholarly papers for consideration for the KCACTF Undergraduate Theatre Scholarship Award. The deadline for submission is December 9. Go here for more information. JFK CENTENNIAL PLAYWRITING AWARD: The Kennedy Center is sponsoring a playwriting award in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s birth. This award will recognize an outstanding student-written one act play that celebrates the legacy of JFK. The deadline for submission is January 4. Go here for more information. UNDERGRADUATE PLAYWRIGHT'S WORKSHOP: The Kennedy Center is offering the Second Annual Undergraduate Playwrights’ Workshop at the Kennedy Center, May 30-June 4, 2017. Applications are due on December 16. Go here for more information. FESTIVAL 49 DATES: Please note that the dates for Festival 49 are January 22-28, 2017.
