We're excited to announce we have a brand new mobile guide for you to use on Guidebook! Get the guide to access the most up-to-date information about our event, including schedules, maps, and much more.

GETTING AROUND REMINDERS:

FESTIVAL 49 1-MAP: - The Festival 49 1-Map is a Google map containing every Festival venue, hotel, in addition to local restaurants. This is a very useful tool to help you navigate Downtown Des Moines.

WALKABLE FESTIVAL
 - We are so excited that our festival in Des Moines will be a walkable festival. There will be no shuttles, so pack warm clothes and wear comfortable walking shoes. Go 
here 
to learn all about Des Moines, explore the awesome indoor Skywalk System, and start planning your Festival 49!

GETTING TO HOYT SHERMAN PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, AND FRIDAY- Invited Productions, Festival Recognition Ceremonies, the Irene Ryan Finals, and the Costume Parade will occur at Hoyt Sherman Place, which is a 15 minute walk Northwest of the Marriott. (The Des Moines CVB is providing lit signs to mark the way to Hoyt Sherman on Wednesday evening.) There is free parking at Hoyt Sherman for those with access to vehicles.

DESIGN INTENSIVES: Go here for more information on all of the wonderful Festival 49 Design Intensives! To register, contact Brad M. Carlson, Region 5 Design Intensive Coordinator at:  carlsonbm@missouri.edu.

EXPO REGISTRATION Deadline for all Design, Technology, Management, Dramaturgy projects is Wednesday, January 18.

PORTFOLIO REVIEW 
Deadline is Thursday, January 19th.

EARLY BIRD FESTIVAL REGISTRATION 
Deadline is Friday, January 20th.
