Email from Thursday night
Good evening friends!I was just notified that there was a cancellation at one of the downtown festival hotels so I wanted to give you all the opportunity to get rooms downtown if you were not initially able. The Hilton Garden Inn does now have some availability. I would encourage anyone staying in a hotel outside of downtown to upgrade if possible. Staying downtown will definitely enhance your festival experience. Not only is there free parking at the hotel, you are within walking distance of any festival event. Plus, Sioux Falls has a beautiful and vibrant downtown (with limited parking!) The Hilton Garden Inn is the most recent hotel addition to downtown and is very lovely. Part of your room rate includes free made-to-order breakfast at Crave restaurant. And this isn't just any breakfast! It is a full hot breakfast with several options. This is a beautiful hotel right on the river with easy access to all of the downtown amenities. They have agreed to extend the KCACTF room block until Sunday morning in an effort to get as many people downtown as we can. For reservations: Call Libby Goertel at (605) 444-4704 or email lgoertel@heggcompanies.com and reference Kennedy Center. Please leave a voicemail if you cannot get through.See you in a few days!
