Festival 47, Region 5 10-Minute Play Festival 2015 Friday, January 23, 2015, 2:00 p.m. Guthrie Theatre - Dowling Lab The TEN-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL is a forum to help student playwrights develop their new work. These Concert Readings are the culmination of a process that begins with a blinded adjudication coordinated by the NPP team of Region II. Each selected play is then assigned a faculty director, a student assistant director and a student stage manager who work closely with the playwright in conjunction with student actors who are cast at the festival. The collaboration is to encourage revision of the work to better explore the world created. The reading is rehearsed for three hours during the week of festival, performed and given a response from festival special guests. Please enjoy!
