10-Minute Play Concert Readings
Want to act in a Concert Reading of a 10-Minute Play? There are two ways to audition:
1. If you ARE participating in Irene Ryans:
When you fill out the Irene Ryans entry form, check the box at the end of the form to be considered for casting in the 10-Minute Plays.
2. If you ARE NOT participating in Irene Ryans:
Select one of the three monologues provided below. Have a friend shoot a video of you reading the monologue (no memorization needed). Make sure to slate your name at the top of your video. Upload the video to a streaming service such as YouTube and submit it via the link below.

Tentative Schedule During Festival Week
Monday
9 am - 12 pm, Rehearsals (Each play rehearses for 1 hour)
Tuesday
9 am - 12 pm, Rehearsals (Each play rehearses for 1 hour)
Wednesday
9 am - 12 pm, Rehearsals (Each play rehearses for 1 hour)
Thursday
8:30 am - 12 pm, Tech Rehearsal
2 - 5 pm, 10-Minute Play Readings & Response
9 am - 12 pm, Rehearsals (Each play rehearses for 1 hour)
Tuesday
9 am - 12 pm, Rehearsals (Each play rehearses for 1 hour)
Wednesday
9 am - 12 pm, Rehearsals (Each play rehearses for 1 hour)
Thursday

General Guidelines for Video Submissions
Record your video in landscape mode (not portrait).
Position the camera at eye-level.
Center yourself in the frame and make sure your body is visible from the top of your head to your waist.
Make sure you are well-lit and your face is clearly visible.
Make sure your audio is clear and audible.
Include your slate/introduction at the start of your video, as you would for an in-person audition.
You do not need to edit the video to include anything additional, such as a title card.
