Drag show and intensive

The 8th Annual Region 5 Drag Show and Intensive
Calling all Queens, Kings, and Fabulous Performers!

Get out your glamorous and fierce looks and join the original KCACTF drag show!  Bring your extravagant personalities to share with the festival.  The Region 5 KCACTF drag ball is the is the oldest running drag show at any KCACTF festival. The show is open to all acts and all performers that range from first-time to professional (students and faculty can participate).  Accompanied with an intensive, you will be coached by professionals in the art of drag and then bring your act to the Festival stage!

Bring your persona, script, costume, make-up, wig, music, background, props, and your best self to the table. Plan to prepare your performance prior to festival week so it can be developed at the intensive. Performances should not exceed 5 minutes.

Once again, this fabulous event will be hosted by our very own Sally B. Ridin’ (aka Casey Paradies) and will feature a guest coach/performer TBD.

Each act will be coached by our team and fully supported by a tech team. The award-winning production team of mentors includes: Casey Paradies, Luke Granholm, and Patrick Reading.
