Vice Chair Nominations; Region 5

3/16/2017

Greetings Region 5!

Region 5 is now accepting nominations for the next team of Regional leaders:
-Regional Vice-Chair
-Vice-Chair of Design, Technology, and Management
-Vice-Chair of the Region 5 National Playwriting Program

These Regional leaders will serve 3 year terms as Vice-Chairs starting in April 2018 and then 3 years as Chairs of those areas starting in April 2021.

Nominations or self-nominations should be emailed to Regional Chair Brad Dell at dellbrad@kcactf.org. All nominees are required to submit a nomination packet that includes:
1. A letter from the nominee, which must contain a statement by the nominee to attend the Regional Festival and KCACTF committee meetings, the support of their home institution, their expertise in the area for which they are nominated, and a statement that they have read and will follow the KCACTF Handbook.
2. The nominee's vitae
3. A letter from the nominee's department chair, dean, or direct supervisor offering support from their home institution.
4. Two letters of recommendation from those who are familiar with the nominee's work as a creative artist and evaluator.

Digital nomination packets must be submitted via email to Brad Dell atdellbrad@kcactf.org by Monday, April 4.

Nominees will be vetted by the Region 5 Executive Committee. An approved slate of candidates will then be voted on by the Region and the selected candidates will be submitted to the KCACTF National Executive Committee for final approval in August.

This is a tremendous opportunity to serve the Region, expand your professional network, add to your vitae, and have a significant impact on the lives and education of thousands of students.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
All the best,
Brad
